PhilippeBecker Design Named as Best Place to Work
San Francisco Business Times Ranks Agency sixth in Bay Area

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — April 10, 2006 — PhilippeBecker Design (PBD), a rising Bay Area branding and packaging agency, today announced that it ranks number sixth on the San Francisco Business Times 2006 list of the Best Places to Work in The Bay Area.

The Business Times list ranks companies based on their performance on issues that are critical to employee satisfaction: the work environment, compensation, benefits, promotions, communication within the company, and recognition. Both public and private companies are included in this list. A majority of each company's final score – approximately 60 percent - was derived from employee surveys.

"We hire our employees because they are the best in their field, and they are indeed a key reason for our success. We've tried to create an environment in which they can thrive, and we are proud that they have voted PBD as a one of the Best Places to Work," said David Becker, PBD President.

PBD has grown consistently since it was founded in 1998, and was also recently named fifth on the Business Times' 2005 Fastest Growing Companies list.

The Best Places to Work list ranks companies within five categories according to size, ranging from companies with less than 100 employees to companies with over 3000 employees. To be considered, companies underwent a two-part process. First, PeopleView, an Orange County-based employee satisfaction consultant, surveyed management of each company on a wide range of topics. Then all employees of participating companies were given an opportunity to respond to questions about the company in an anonymous survey online.
