PhilippeBecker Design Receives Small Business Award
Agency Honored by Leading Small Business Advocacy Organization

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — June 7, 2006 — PhilippeBecker Design (PBD), a San Francisco branding and packaging agency, today announced that it has been awarded the Small Business Owner of the Year for 2006 by the San Francisco Small Business Network.

The San Francisco Small Business Network (SBN) bestowed the prestigious 2006 Small Business Owner of the Year Award, in the category of less than 25 employees. Previous winners have included Pet Camp, The Cannery, and many other successful businesses over the years.

"We believe in the vibrancy and innate creativity of small businesses. We're honored to receive this award, and to be in such esteemed company" said David Becker, President.

The Small Business Awards were created in 1984 to recognize exceptional small businesses in San Francisco, and those that go above and beyond in supporting their fellow entrepreneurs. The SBN is a lobbying and advocacy group of 20 business organizations representing about 19,000 San Francisco businesses. Winners were announced at the Small Business Network event, Thursday, June 1st, at the Marines' Memorial Club in San Francisco.

PBD has grown consistently since it was founded in 1998. The San Francisco Business Times ranked PBD recently as number fifth on its list of the Top 100 Fastest Growing Private Companies, and number sixth on its list of the Best Places to Work in The Bay Area.
